The second edition of the Myanmar Power & Solar Energy Storage Lighting Expo 2025, a trade exhibition featuring generators and solar energy storage products, will be held over four days in Yangon.
The event will take place from May 1 to 4 at the Yangon Convention Center in Inya Lake Hotel.
The expo will be open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM from May 1 to 3, and from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on May 4.
The first edition of the expo, held earlier this year, saw participation from over 150 international brands and featured more than 70 booths. It was held from January 10 to 12 at the Yangon Convention Center, running from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day.
This year’s expo will showcase generators, solar energy storage systems, and electronic products from over 150 companies representing China, Thailand, and India.
One of the highlights of the previous expo was battery-integrated smart inverters that operate without solar panels, which attracted significant interest from buyers.
Currently, power outages remain a persistent issue in Yangon and other regions across Myanmar. Due to reduced electricity generation, the Ministry of Electric Power has been implementing rotational power distribution in Yangon, Nay Pyi Taw, Mandalay, and nationwide.
